Quick Review - LEGO Lord of the Rings (Playstation 3)

I just picked up LEGO: Lord of the Rings for Playstation 3 this week. Hopefully I'll be able to get a full review of the game up in the next week or so, but thus far I have to say , being able to play as LEGO versions of all of my beloved characters from Middle Earth has been fantastic. While there are some issues with the controller configuration, I still think this is a fantastic game ranging from younger kids to adulthood. I should also note, that while this game utilizes the original audio from the films, doing so offers left opportunity for the video game developers to employ the classic LEGO humor that we find in other titles such as LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean (still my favorite by far). All in all, I say if you're a fan of the LEGO series, or looking for a game for someone this Christmas, LEGO: Lord of the Rings will not disappoint.

Bioshock Splicer Mask

So, over the course of July to August, I began working on a pair of splicer masks from the game Bioshock. My original intent was to get an entire cosplay for these characters completed, however, my partner who I was working with decided that he was no longer interested in the project....so I just decided to finish up the masks and wait until we are both available to see the final cosplay to fruition. To create the mask, I basically utilized Halloween bunnie masks from Walmart and re-painted them to match the character design.

With my free time starting to become more readily available in the next few weeks, I've decided to return to blogging...hopefully round two is much more productive. More posts to come!
